im saying the 4.8 is weak beacause i test drove a yukon with a 4.8 and it was as slow as a geo metro i admire golden velvets truck so dont get me wrong.

mine wil run side by side with a 5.3 z71 rcsb here in town only will pull at the most by a foot mine is rcsb 4x4 both stock think his is a 00 mines 01

 

So you equate my SCSB 2wd truck to a stock Yukon with a 4.8?

Nice kill! We have a nice looking blue one running around town. I'm sure our paths will cross soon. From what I've heard, they aren't just an easy kill, so I'm glad to see the 4.8s putting in work!!!! Even though I've swapped, I'm still rooting for the 4.8L guys. Mine gave me 5 years of trouble free racing.

 

If you actually read my post, you'll see I didn't say he was on the phone during the race, but actually during the test. The staging process is part of the test.
