Default Lack of power?

I have noticed that my truck has been running kind of sluggish compared to usual. It was time to change my oil and I noticed what looked like sludge on the drain plug. I am kind of concerned. It has never done that before. I have had the truck a little over a year. It now has 84k on it. I change the oil every time. I have been running Quaker State Peak Performance 10w-30 with one quart of Lucas. I have heard some good things about Delo 15-40, so I am trying that this time without the Lucas. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yeah, there was some metal on the drain plug. I change it every 3000 pretty consistently. Do you think I should be concerned? I have heard good things about the Delo 15-40. what do you think? Thanks

Keep your oil if thats the brand you like. But DROP THE LUCAS!!!!!!!!!!!!
The stuff turns your oil to crap basically.
There is a video of it and how badly it affects your oil on i think bobtheoilguy.com
Could be wrong on the website.
But basically it's wayyyy more harmful than it is good.
Just stop using it altogether and you should be fine.

Ive gotten alot of metal on my drain plug at times.. and then there is none... i wouldnt be concerned.. ive got 165k miles on my truck... last 75k have been pretty rough on it..
Just keep using what your using now..

my buddy has a farm and they get Delo 400 (15W-40) by the drums so he uses that in every Automobile, Tractor, Lawnmower, 4wheelers, generators, welding machine, water pumps... well you get the idea... its hard to go wrong with a name brand oil if you change it reguarly.. and get a good filter....

Your Set..
