Knock Sensor????????????

As mentioned, since you're going to have it all apart, I'd replace them both as well as the sub-harness. Might want to consider replacing the intake gaskets since you'll be breaking that seal open. I'm sure that most guys will say that they're re-usable, but it seems like I've read more than one thread where guys were experiencing lean issues and vacuum leaks after removing the intake...

^^^ yeah i asked the guy at napa and he said the seal should be like new but i have 130,000 miles on my motor and im sure its far from new haha. I thinks im just gonna have my local shop do it. I dont wanna break anything haha

Yes, possible corrosion on in the knock sensor connectors. You'll need some RTV too...it's common for water to get under the intake into the valley cover where the knock sensors are located. GM's fix is to build a "dam" of RTV around where the knock sensor connectors plug in to keep water from getting in there. If you search for "knock sensor" you should find pics of the RTV fix that I'm referring to. The sub-harness to the knock sensors may need to be replaced also if it's oxidized to the point of no return.

Knock sensor and where to squeeze the connector to get it off:

Closer look at the plug and the knock sensor:

Installed new one, just screw in...careful not to overtorque!

And when you are done installing the new ones, seal it up with some RTV:

Thanks for the write up. I got the truck back today and they said that the sensor was fine and that it was just a bad batch of fuel which is a load of BS. I filled up today with 93 and ill see if the light comes back on.
