It will be interesting to see how (or if) the other manufacturers step up to either refute comparisons like this (i.e. show which engines were compared) or improve their own vehicles. If the former is the case, and they put a 4.6L Ford, 4.7L Dodge and 4.8L Chevy against that 405 lb. ft. Tundra, Toyota will look sillier than if they did not do it in the first place. If the latter is true, and they compared comparably equipped trucks, I hope that the others step up to the plate and improve their product, that way, everyone wins.

My next truck will still be a diesel though.

I thought that at first as well. Remember it's a 0 to 60 to 0 test. If the Tundra hit 60 first, he got to hit the brakes first.

The factory tuning on the 6.0L NNBS truck is killing it off the line. There was a write-up on that recently.

yea never thought of that one

which isnt really a braking test then, its a acceleration/braking test so its not that accurate

If they still have TM (pushing through the 4L60E) then the 6L80E addition should even things up considerably ( as someone noted earlier) with a 6.0 or 6.2, presuming the 6L80E isn't too weak to hanle what the engines are capable of too.

nah, those toyotas really do have some big billy badass brakes. ill find a post from a year or so back where i predicted the japs taking over the full size market soon because they build **** right.

yea i saw the commercial where they slam like a F150 rotor up on the table then the yota one and its liek 3 inches bigger
