or you can get in, shut the doors. put the key in the ignition, press and hold the unlock button... turn the key to the on (dont start it though) position, turn to the off position, turn to on position, then turn to off position and let go of the unlock button.... the doors will then lock themselves then unlock. That also puts it in reprogram mode for the key fob when you get one... when you get it in that mode take your key fob and press and hold the lock and unlock button on the fob at the same time for approx. 15 seconds... then the truck will lock and unlock itself again and that fob will be programmed

if after you do the steps to get it in program mode for the fob... it doesnt lock itself then unlock itself you didnt have keyless from the factory

He should have it figured out by now. I just wanted to post the RPO code for people doing future searches. If AU0 is one of the codes it came with Keyless entry and they don't have to by an Aftermarket unit.
Then just follow procedure you posted.
