Default Keyless entry?

My 07 classic didn't come with keyless entry and i really want it. Can i buy the factory system, or do i have buy an aftermarket alarm/ keyless entry system. if so, what is the best system?

If your truck has power locks, grab a buddies remote and try this:

Get in the truck, hold the unlock button on the door and do key-on key-off key-on key-off. Then release the unlock button. If the doors lock and unlock, then it worked. Now hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 15 seconds. If the door locks and unlocks again, then the remote is set to your truck and you can go buy a new remote and program it for yourself. To take the remote off your truck, do the key cycle thing and just don't program a remote. This works on the 99-02, but I'm not 100% sure if it works on the 03+. Good luck with it.

Tried this on my '03 with power locks. Everything went as described. After I did the ignition step, I held down the two buttons on the remote and the locks immediatly locked and unlocked, not after 15 seconds. Then, I tried the remotes but they do not work. Any ideas? Is there a step missing here?

The horn also sounded during the lock/unclock phases.
