Just got a new Silverado

haha, chevy wouldn't spend the additional money for bolts to hold the side moulding on
Just grab the moulding and pull then clean up with adhesive with 3M adhesive remover spray or a strip off wheel that's safe.

lol Yeah I figured it sounded a bit strange that they would "bolt" on some stupid looking moldings. Well that will certainly be my first mod then. Black is gonna suck to keep clean but when it IS clean it looks awesome.
Great looking truck Sean I was looking at some SS parts too I do like the wheels and the bumper, so I may just go that route.
I came up with another question for you guys, after looking at some simple mods to do, what is a good CAI for my truck? I looked at a few and theres a bunch of versions, so Im not sure what the most popular, or performance driven one is. Thanks!

Clean truck, like someone else said if I were you I would go with some Chrome SS wheels...
Good luck keeping it clean. Gotta love black when it is clean but give it an hour and it will be dirty again.

CHEVY6000VHO You mentioned the side molding can be removed, how is it held on, the guy at the stealership said that it was bolted on. Is this not the case? Does it just peel off, because that was the primary thing I said I didnt like about the look of the truck. Thanks!

You can also use a good hair dryer if you can't get your hands on a heat gun.
Either way, use one or the other.
That guy at the dealership doesn't know squat!
There are no bolts holding them on. It's smooth and glossy like the rest of the paint is on the truck. It's not hard to remove. Get to it!
