I like the stepside or fleetside bed on the RC but the only bed i would own of an EC would be a fleetside unless of course its bagged and bodydropped with custom 22's with a 4" lip sittin under the stepside bed like grounded's rust bucket truck. That truck is sick. Other than that i hate stepsides on EC's.

Im actually thinking about trading my black stepside bed for a fleetside bed. Ive been looking into making a deal with fogle04 on his red fleetside bed but we havent worked everything out on it yet. Its a long drive and im not sure what it will cost to paint it black for my truck yet. If anyone local here in Houston, Texas would like to trade a fleetside bed for a stepside, hit me up. Must be in good shape! Mine has a shaved tailgate w/ relocator already so i would prefer to trade for a fleetside that has also been shaved and also preferably already has a sir michaels steel roll pan molded in.

Thanks for the replies to my poll guys!! Trying to make up my mind as to which one to get. I love the stepside but something about the fleetside when its all shaved up with a molded rollpan and 03-04 tails on a slammed truck makes me want it! lol.

I've had 5 Chevy trucks including the one I have now and all but one were Fleet Sides. I liked the 96 step side I had but the box was kind of useless for what I needed at the time. The liners they had when I bought it tapered toward the bottom and took up too much of the already limited cargo area.

Yea, i think i like the stepside better also! Much more sporty and aggressive IMO. I guess i just like the looks of the fleetside when its all shaved up with a rollpan and 04 tails. Other than that, i love stepsides!!

What can I say... I own to stepside trucks. The fleetside on the 03 Silverado is growing on me thought.

On Regular cabs

99-02 stepside on both Silverado & Sierra.

03+ fleetside for Silverado (goes better w/ the front IMHO), stepside for Sierra.

On Extended cabs - All fleetside.
