Just bought new Z71 with 5.3L HO
Well, my daily ride had started to develop some bugs, so I went looking for a replacement and figured it was time to get a truck. With GM rebates and my supplier discount I got a hell of a deal on new 05 Z71 extended cab, short bed 
. It had everything I wanted, including the new 310 hp 5.3L engine. I have heard this engine has LS6 heads on it. It feels pretty strong 
, buy haven't romped on it yet (need to break her in first). Overall, I am quite impressed with the truck. They even got the 4L60 tranny to shift pretty decent.
