just depends on how you set them up... I drive my 69 almost everyday, never hear a chirp from the v belts.

The quarters doors and fenders are all different between a 67 and 68. The quarters and fenders have provisions for side marker lights and of course different holes for different emblems. The doors were different, because the vent window wasn't there. Also the interiors were very different in 68. They switched door panels, seat styles and certain things on the dash. The deluxe interiors were very different and the 68's mimiced the 69's. Also underneath the car was different. In 68 they switched to a staggared shock setup to help eliminate wheel hop, which in turn changed the trunk pan design.

Ok sorry for the rambling, but this is my obsession.

So Brian, are you guys going to be building more first gens or is this just an isolated customer.

BTW, v-belts will work fine, even to 7000rpm. You just have to make sure your pullies are properly aligned. Sometimes they get out of alignment from years of use or just by not using the right spacers.

This is something we have always done, just never talked/advertised it. You will be seeing alot more of this in coming months.
