That's what I'm saying, I can download my G-tech runs via serial port, so I might as well just leave it hooked up along with the HPT program. The Alarm interface controls all things alarm related via serial port, which I can probably get away with a USB adapter.

the laptop draws 120W I think, that's what the A/C adapter is rated for anyway. I got the adapter from PC Universe for $85 shipped, used Bizrate to find the best deal.

I'll probably hook it up next week after the last of my stereo stuff is wrapped up.

have you found any need for the tabletop attachment or the screen holder attachment?

Yea I was wonder how the screens for the laptops are acting. Do they move at all with braking or acceleration?

Mine stays put...at least it did after that 1320 in Fontana...
