No, I agree, but most anyone who knows what the value of the components put into a Gibbs agree they are way overpriced....$27K is more like what they are actually worth.

i saw a 4.8 5spd on ebay for 22k but it wasn't supercharged. that's still not a bad price for all the crap you get. I would never pay 40k for any of those trucks, hell I wouldn't pay 40k for any truck ever.

Anyone seriously considering a Gibbs truck should also check out Chapman Chevrolet in Arizona, they build trucks to order with Radix blowers, different gears, etc, and they also have warranties like the Gibbs vehicles. They call them Chapman Supertrucks. The difference is, you get a performance truck without all the foo-foo junk (monogrammed seats, front fascia, etc.) on the Gibbs vehicles that serves no functional/performance purpose. And for a much better price.

That being said, this $27,XXX price on the Gibbs sounds pretty good.

I agree. I'm guessing this things been sitting out there a while and maybe they dropped the price. I mean, isn't this the top notch one,:
5.3/blower/suspension/acces.

If they were all that price it would be very for the buyers.

BTW, can i add, it looks 10 times better in person than in a magazine/internet.

Anyone read there going to be selling the JG truck w/ the stepside bed? I did

I'm gonna get slammed for this...but if youre willing to pay 27 for a new s/c truck, I'd go look at the Lightnings, I hear they have some pretty good rebates going on. I heard of a guy buying one for around that same price. Just a better truck, in my opinion.

That being said, 27 is what the Joe Gibbs *should* cost, so that is a good price.
