oh yeah, needed a little exhaust repair while i was down there and Perry hooked me up with a buddy of his. he fixed my leak AND installed a gibsen cat back he had pulled off of another truck. 3.5" mandrel all stainless with a strait thru muffler. it is prety quiet with just a little deep rumble. sounds killer and for the best part he only charged me $100 installed(and a ride around the block , got to kill a z3 while taking him for a spin)

Damn good run man...sorry it didnt turn out as expected! You should go to a dyno and just turn up the boost and see what that 408 can handle

i have done that and i did at the track as well. i have the highest wastgate spring and my boost controler is turned to 100%. it wont hold the boost like it should. most people think it is the header and that a feed thru log style really isn't ideal for 750+fwhp.

today i got my cross over and downpipe. 3.5" is huge!!!! no header yet but i bet i get it tomorrow, all hell is going to break loose with that thing i hope

And what are you hopeing for at the track? You are going to have all kinds of traction issues too with that much power. What size slicks are you going with?

i am hoping for ~mid10's soon with the hot parts, alky injection, traction.

BTW, my gtech is still exactly .3 off. very consistant. i was prety sure based off my street times a 10.99 would be dificult and i was running exactly what i thought i would be running. my IAT's were about 95deg at the start of the runs, i think a little cooler day i would have done better and a few more runs i would have done a little better but not all the way into the 10's. i can't seem to hook as well with this set of firestones as the ones that came on the truck. the set i have on there now was siting aroun for awhile. they are probably a couple years older than the ones that i had on the truck last year so maybe they are a little dryer or something. just can't seem to get any 1.6x 60' times with them.

I meant Flipper, but thats good info too.

I guess you need some new tires. I used to have Mastercraft 255/75 16's and they hooked better than any other tire I've tried. And they are cheap as hell.

Some FYI also, off road tires use a much softer rubber than normal road tires. You for sure would knock off low 1.6- high 1.5's with some mud terrains. Soundscrazy, but it got me some 2 wheel action in the 4.3 4lo.
