Besides the fm translator, how can i hook up an ipod to the stock bose 6disk system?
I do not want to switch to a new headunit, but curious to how this would work.
going to pick up an ipod pretty soon. I hate burning cds, even though i swore i'd never get one...
thanks.

fm transmitter is the only way I've been told. as far as I know there isn't an input jack on the bose system. just go with an aftermarket headunit. it made all the difference in the world with my bose system. much louder and cleaner audio.

Otherwise I thought this PAC unit would work....

NOTE this line of text: "If the vehicle has a 6 disc indash CD changer and not an external CD changer, then the vehicle must have a factory external XM receiver installed for the AAI-GM12 to work"
Ive installed one of these units in a Colorado with XM before. Was a pretty involved install but worked like a charm.
