Default Interior lights won't shut off

Alright guys this morning I was headed to work and I noticed that all my interior lights stayed on while I was driving. The first thing I thought was maybe I triggered the dome override switch so I went ahead and pressed it a couple of times and to my dismay nothing happened. Next I thought maybe the dimmer wheel was all the way up so I went and tried to turn it all the way down and nada. So I thought well screw this I am going to take the whole switch out, so I got to work and took the switch out to no avail. Decided to pull the CTSY fuse and shut all the lights off. I have no idea what happened, yesterday I got the puddle lamps working and it was all normal but now it is deciding it wants to be difficult.

Any ideas? I'm thinking that my puddle lights just freaked out or something else is wrong. I will undo the puddle light I did last night and then see what happens. I was driving around with my driver's side for like a week with no problems.

might have a door switch angry at life. The door switches are built into the latches on our trucks. May just need to clean it, or slam the doors a couple times to knock it loose

Where is the door switch? I did think about that too, made me open my door on the highway lol

The good news is that I took my dash bezel off so now I have no excuse not to fix my cluster light and light switch lights lol

The latch itself or the thing it latches onto? Like cab side or door side. If door side then by the door handle inside or just the edge of the door

omg bro

Its built into the door latch. Its obviously not built into the cab door striker, you'd see it, amirite? You have to pull the door panel off and look at the latch. All those little rods and connectors at the latch? yeah, one of those tells the truck the door is open

Well I think I may have fixed it but I am not sure, I went outside during lunch and tried to see what I could see with the latch and for some reason it was stuck in the down position as if it had been locked. I then got it even more stuck and eventually fixed it but I am hoping somehow some way I jimmied it the right way and got it working. I pulled the fuse so I could leave the truck without the battery dying so I don't know if it is actually working
