I like the Hypertech but I wish it did something for the tranny, it does ZERO for the tranny, no extended shift points, shift firmness, nothing. It does give 27 tq at 1200 rpms and reduce TM by a claimed 80%. That combination now lets me smoke the tires from a dead stop just by flooring (no brake). Before, I would get about 5-10 if a light squeel but not enough to leave a black mark or smoke the tires. Now, instant spin all the way through first gear.

Right now, Superchips doesn't make a tuner for the 04 Rams, just the 03's. I'll look at what ever comes out on the market, when it comes out. Superchips and Predator are saying the Spring of 05 for the 04 Hemi Rams, I would like some user tranny adjustments and also be able to calibrate the speedo for different tires which the HPP doesn't do either. All the HPP does is 87 or 93 tuning, raise rev limiter (but you have to manually shift) from +100 to +500, and raised top speed, only three options. I don't know if they couldn't crack the DC PCM codes and just said screw it and this is what they put on the market or those are options that can't be done for the 04's because of the DC PCM. DC won't help the aftermarket, it's guarded like a national secret. I got the HPP because I wanted something now but I will sell it and get something else if it's better.
