I wouldn't worry about it. If there was a miss, stumble, etc. you would have a check engine light on the dash. Did you do the crank relearn after installing the Westers PCM? If you think it's a problem, have the dealership check it.

My 03 1500 hd has 135k on it now and has done it for as long as i have had the truck, about 20k, It really gets on my nerves but i am about to do some work on it and get it tuned so i hope it can tune out of the truck. I would be really interested to figure out what causes it though

Man this is an oldy (4 me). Factory sets idle too low. A good tune will eliminate most of it.....Unless you put a big 'ol nasty cam in there

yea i had to same problem. as for my truck... a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner later... the problem was gone, and its stayed gone for about 10k miles and counting. i think i had an injector getting dirty and the problem only showed at idle.

i ran a big bottle of the lucas fuel treatment through my truck over about month and a half using about 5 ozs. per fill up instead of the 3 that they say use. No help still did it.

Mine does it....but only started since i did the cam/motor swap.My 5.3 would every now and then start kinda chop idleing. All stock motor but it would almost idle like it had a big ol cam.It would do it for like a second or two then stop and it only did it every so often. Not sure why it ever did that.
