Default I was wondering...

Can cut-outs serve as a thief deterrent when some motherless f#ck wants to steal your ride???? I mean think about it, they start the vehicle and you could probably hear it a block away...What do you guys think???

It could. A theif would much rather steal a vehicle that does not draws attention.

If I was a thief I wouldn't want to steal a vehicle that would wake up the neighborhood. Plus you gotta love the sound!

I think I am gonna run open headers for a week or so, my y pipe still isn't in and I'm really itching to put my headers on. Plus, I have to take the factory y pipe off anyways to swap trannys, so I figure its as good a time as any to put my headers on. Hopefully soon after I can get a cutout. Maybe it will add some security to my truck.

Yes I think it can, I was thinking that too. I know when I start my truck all my neighbors on my street can hear it. The sound draws alot of attention.
