Have you seen any video of Parish8's truck? If not, you ought to do a search and watch the video. If that don't motivate you, nothing will.

What is it you want? If you just want to go fast buy a Corvette. If like trucks and love speed then mod it. Convinced yet?

go big or why go at all? it just ends up being a waste of time if ya dont, cause you know your gonna upgrade. i was going to do a budget/quick 6.0 swap, but then i started thinkin about it and... faaaaaawk that! im going to take some more time and money and build a fairly big cubed forged LSx. that way when im not satisfied n/a i can turbo it or spray the hell out of it.

...just my humble opinion

9 out of 10 guys on here don't put some headers on and an exhaust and call it a complete truck.

Everybody on here wants a turbo'ed 6.0 with a 150 shot of nitrous that will hit 10's all day. If you get into it, you'll be the same way. Is it worth spending $10,000 into your drivetrain? People that don't like cars might say yes. People like myself and many others on here would say yes it is.

Personally I would rather spend $3000 on my truck than put that towards buying a 4wheeler, or a big screen TV. I love working on trucks and it's more than just a hobby.

It's all how you look at things. If you just want a fast truck, then no it's probably not worth it. Whats' worth it is when you find yourself getting pissed because you found a french fry under your seat, a dog peed on your tire, or other things that most people wouldn't give a **** about. When you find yourself doing stuff like that, that's when you know that it's worth it because you care about your truck more than just a form of transportation.

EDIT- I don't want to sound like I have a badass truck or anything but I've had my truck for 2 years(since I was 16) and I've put in $7000 of my own money into it(not including gas). That is with a part time job, playing baseball, and going to school. I've probably made $10,000 over those 2 years and $7000 of it has gone into my truck. The rest on my girlfriend.LOL
