The v-max's are awesome, nice buy. My brother and a friend of mine both bought new trucks within the past month and neither one listened to me when I said you can get the V-max option. They thought the 5.3 was all their was...I think Chevy needs a better marketing campaign.

My 4.5 year old son, just loves it too, maybe more than me. He just sits back in his booster seat just chillin' with a big smile on his face! Makes me feel good.
First mod will be Remote start for sure, then either, 2-4" drop or spray in liner and/or Undercover.
What drop kits do you guys recommend? I don't want to go the cheap route, I want to do it the right way. I'm now thinking , a 3" drop in the front and a 4" drop in the rear, unless it settles more over the next month or so.
As for price, I got one hell of a deal. I was going to get a Colorado Sport Crew Cab, but with all the GM incentives/rebates, it only cost me about $2000 more for the Silverado.
After all the rebates, discounts and incentives, I paid $27,094 Out the door (I had $2,972 in GM Card earnings

There were no Vmax's on the lot and the Chevy dealership where I live has the WORST customer service I've ever seen at any dealership. I had to go elsewhere to get my truck because they would not locate one for me last fall when they were offering the employee discounts.
