Default I Found My Next Truck... maybe

Ok, as ya'll know my old truck was crushed by my carport, well the cab was. Im looking at something now that is very interesting. It's an 00' rc stepside bed, gmc with the lq4 and a t56 (6spd, not the turbo ) anyway. Its black with a 2/4 drop and goofy 20'' rims. I could swap the rims for something different but I'm ready for another truck. The guy has all the receipts and the motor came from a 2500 ecsb that was rearended. It has 67k miles the trans has about 70 and the truck is 54657 on the odo.

I havent test driven it yet but he's asking 17900 obo and the thing works and drives like stock. I just don't know if this is what I really want. Would a t56 hold up to lets say a t76 with some work on the lq4? And what about the rear end it has 3.42's with i guess the lockin diff,I don't know. Any ideas?

too much IMO. im sure its a nice truck, but you can get 00's everywhere for under 11,000 and drop the rest of the money into fun stuff like forced induction. then go back and kick his butt in a race

I would sell you my modded 00 for less than that.

The guy must want everything he has in it back out... that's way too much.

you could easily buy a used 4.8/5m, a nice 6.0 and T56, and whatever wheels you wanted, all for under $15k.

best way to go, that way you know how everything was done and make it sure it was done right, if you buy something modded, u don't really know what all they've did and how hard it was actually drove, best thing is to buy all stock for cheap, build it the way you want it
