Nice car man. I've really started to like the 99-04 'stangs the past couple of years; its really one of the last true muscle cars IMO.

im sorry but there are some sweet ricers around. my mom has a honda S2k. that thing is sweet. i take any opportunity to drive it i can. just needs some twins and it wouldFLY the 350z'es are aweosme too. my friends brother has a mustang pretty much the same except manual. its got 3.73 and its pretty quick. he frequently drives 150+mph and hasnt gotten a ticket nor blown an engine.

You nailed that.....it's the only true short wheelbase V8 powered "Pony Car" left IMHO, Even the Camaro/Firebird fall to the Mustang in terms of handling (power is another story...anybody want to help me put an LS2 into an SN95 Chassis Mustang)

Not a bad choice of car, IMO. I actually like the body style of those more compared to the new 2005+ Mustangs. I personally would have opted for a 5-speed but an auto is cool. Those cars have a great aftermarket to modify from. Good luck with it.

That car is JUST like my buddy's! Yeah those mod motors arent bad for how small displacement they are, but the 2v (gt) motors dont go well without FI. You rarely see one break 300 rwhp with out a power adder. My buddy has full exhaust (LT's ORH pipe and axle back), CAI, 4.10's, and Plenum. It goes mid 13's on street tires and hes not that bad of a driver.

I have to admit I'm pretty impressed with the 4.6....it's only 281 cubic inches but it makes 260hp and 302tq, at only 3200lbs it's NOT a slow car (even here today when the temps are 120º). I CANNOT believe how BIG the 4.6 is though....there's enough room under the hood to mount an LS2 AND a pair of turbos easily, but the 4.6 takes up almost ALL of that space by itself !!!
