Did this happen because you used Richards injectors, lol. Is his stuff cursed? Cuz I just bought his old Throttle body..... Am I set up for disaster? Haha kidding, but this sucks Jake! So are you buying that 6.0? Or is it time for some head work and new gaskets?

You can grab me a 6.0 while your in Texas. Haha! And when do you plan on swap in the 6.0? you don't have any time? Your not going to get any sleep. You'll wake up, go school, go home do homework, then work on the truck, then skip sleep, go back to school, homework, Truck... Repeat lol

True man it could take a while to do this. I dunno what I'm gonna do in the mean time lol.

So what are the theories as to what might have caused this? I didn't hear any detonation whatsoever, meth LED never turned off. But I definitely lifted the head...

Thats number 7 right? Typically the hottest running cylinder. I am going to tie in those rear coolant passages to the front next go around, and not use the little block off tab on the block.

Well thats a pretty interesting lookin intake valve.More often then not Ive seen exhaust valves suck due to overheating or excessive spring pressure or both.I would venture to guess the cylinder partially hydrolocked due to coolant sneaking in through a damaged head gasket. This would definately create some serious cylinder pressure enough to tulip the valve but,im pretty sure you got some more damage.Like a possible bent connecting rod or a mushroomed bearing.Whats the cam and lifters look like for that cylinder.

My coolant cross over is in the back, not the front. The fast Intake wouldn't allow the cross over to fit up front. maybe it would benefit to move the cross over to the rear in some cases to prevent the No.7 from doing something like this. Or would that just move the problem to the front?
