Default Hydroboost - Brake Pedal Dimentions?

I got 04 Avalanche booster/master cylinder from the salvage yard to do the hydroboost swap on my truck but the Avy had power pedals so I was going to press out the pin on my pedal and relocate it for the HB booster placements. I was measuring the offset of the HB placement on the mounting plate and seems is is only 5/8" higher than the centered vac booster. Logically thinking, the pin on the pedal only needs to be moved up 5/8", right? Well, the pin its self is just a fraction under 5/8" diameter so it would be a bit difficult to move up the center of the pin only 5/8". Looking at Atomic's pic from his hydroboost how-to, it looks as if the hp pedal has the pin approximately half way up from the position of the vac pedal. The pedal also looks to be shorter overall.

Default

Just for reference, the pedal on my 2000 with vac brakes has a pedal mount that is 3.75" wide with the booster rod mount pin 3.5" down from the mount on centers. Comparing the pedals in the pic above, the hb pedal has the pin distance shorter (~2.5") than than the mount width and he vac pedal has the pin distance longer (~4.2") than the mount width. Total pedal length is 18".
