99-02 trucks generally need a new blend door actuator when this happens. I have installed a few of the Dorman actuators. They seem to work well.

I have done a few that have had a stuck door as well.... But typically the actuator fixes it.... Just be sure,tgui , while you have tha catuator off to make sure the door moves freely

His is the single system, not the dual zone.... Id rather do the passenger side than the drivers side anyday..... 1/4" snapon pass through ratchet wirks awesome for those

Door moves freely.

Actuator in. Can hear door moving.

Still blowing hot!

I put my finger on the actuator and felt it rotating, but it did not move much.
