Default HP guess for my set up. will i need an 80E?

well i was pretty set on getting an 80E but now im second guessing myself. it would be nice to just swap out a tran rather then all the stuff that has to go into a 80E.

im buying a house and got a bunch of stuff to do to it. finding time to do an 80e swap would be a challange.

anyways her is what i got.

5.3 Z71
pacesetter lt with ORY and cut out.
elec fans
powerdyne sc with intercooler (8-9 psi)
42lb injectors
255lph pump
160 stat.
hooker areochamber 3in
02 z06 cam
nelson tune
3000 stall.

how much HP do you think i will have? will a FLT level 5 be able to hold nicely?

also was thinking about swapping to a 6.0 with the same mods. cam and all. how much hp will that put me at.

thanks.

You should be ok with the level 5 with that setup. With the 6.0 it will probably put ya over the limit for the 5, plus you have a heavy truck, if ya plan on do the 6.0 I would go with the 80, just so you don't have to do it 2 times. jmo.

A level 5 should hold up pretty good. Do you have the belt driven or gear driven head powerdyne. I'm curious if they are less PITA than they used to be.

I have a level 5 but honestly I know I'm pushing the limits. You should go for the 80e and ease the pain you'll feel later. Besides, the 80e may suck in 1st gear but it seems to make up for it once you hit 2nd.
