Default How Much Nitrous Can I spray???????????

Well my cousin has an 90 chevy silverado with the 350 engine and it has 120k on it right now. He wants to get nitrous but doent know how much to spray. He was thinking about a 50 shot and i was wondering if his engine can handle 50 or even a 75 shot? Please help i will be ordering the kit in the next hour. By the way the kit will be a dry system.

I wouldn't go higher than a 100 shot. 75 should be about perfect.

Just keep raising the shot bar until you blow the engine, then back off from there on the next engine!
With 120K, I don't even know if you should start spraying it. It may put your engine into a state of shock! I would say do a rebuild first, then place a 100-125 shot on it. If you just have to do it now, then I would say 75 shot tops.
Keep us posted on when she takes her last breath!
Good Luck!

Theres more to just installing a kit and deciding which shot to use. IF you dont know much about it, you should read, read, read, read and read some more before even attempting it. Are you going wet or dry? Gonna raise the fuel pressure? Install a kill switch in case you dont get enough fuel? Not trying to sound like a jerk. Nitrous is perfectly safe as long as you take the correct precautions. Not only can you blow up the motor but fire is another danger. LS1.com use to have a bunch of good info and the guys were super helpful. Good luck.
