Ok then, I guess I'll take the high mileage trophy for now 183,002 miles and 4129.9 Engine Hrs. Nothing done to it but a cam and tune. Started modding at 125,xxx a little over a year ago. Blew tranny at 104,000 ( entirely my fault ) and replaced E-brake shoes at about 60-70,000. No other major work done to it besides a stall but no internal engine problems as of yet ( KNOCK ON WOOD ). Had that cold start knock since I can remember. Changed engine oil religously (sp.) every 3-4000, switched to Mobil 1 and changed first set of plugs at 60,000, and thats about it.

Ive got 24,500 and no problems other than the steering clunk, and a persistent exhaust leak.

So far my truck has 826 miles and has been in the shop for a week and a half. So far it's gotten: four new tires, front rotors and rear drums turned, brakes bled, new master cylinder, new brake booster, and new driveshaft yolk. Sometime this week they are opening the trans and diff to make sure everything is still intact. Oh yeah, the problem was the brakes were slightly dragging causing excess heat everywhere. I was still getting 17-18 mpg though...Oh and my ashtray won't stay closed.

Not sure what direction I'm gonna take with my tranny, but don't tempt me on that offer Onyx I might take you up on it.
