i got mine in Nov 2001

it is a 2001 and the odometer has 103,000 miles on it. i plan on having the truck for a long long time to come.

only thing that has gone out is the factory battery and something electronic in the tranny that the warranty fixed for free. oh yea, my gas needle works when it wants too.

Ive been thru 3 trannies all with a stock setup These 4l60s have MAJOR weaknesses. I laughed when the service department tried to not warrenty my tranny because my "tires were bald". When I handed them my lawyers business card and told them "fine, give me my truck", they wised up and replaced it

i think it had more to do with the shop building it. when you pay an arm and leg to have something that is supposed to be bullet proof but yet has a warranty, you are hesitant to go else where and cut your losses. eventually he did and now had a tranny that is holding up....

Jesus 01!!

I guess May of 03?
I've put 30k on it and I got it when it had 41k.
I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.

trust me I did it, and just about all the regulars here know something about it.
tranny 2 thru 9 where built by an IDIOT.
he couldnt tell the diffrence between a square peg and a round peg to save his life.
but a real good BS'er
fooled me
any ways all 9 trannies where under warranty. untill they voided the 9th one and stated that I was abusing the transmission.
If you really want to know what happened do a search about it.
this all took place between oct of 2003, and January 2004.
