Default how do you get rid of smoke smell?

I had my truck at a shop today for 4 hours. All of the guys working there were chain smoking. The windows were all rolled up and noone was in my truck at all. My truck smells so bad on the inside, it's smelling up my whole garage. HOLY ****!!!! How do I get the smell out? Febreze did NOTHING. Should I ask them to pay for it to be detailled?

either ask them to pay for a detail job which i am sure they are going to say F-off or you can just mix some water and a mild soap up. like dish soap or something and wipe everything down. then get some fabric/upholstery cleaner and spray and scrub the **** out of it. i have a little green machine which is a miniture steam cleaner. it was 60 bucks at walmart. it does a helluva job on carpets and upholstery.

i had the same thing happen to mine. i just left my windows down while it was in the garage. I also left my windows cracked while i was at work for a day or two. This fixed the problem for me.

Walmart has a professional strength odor killer (unscented) called Odor Gun,
made by Medo. Cheap and it works great!

For your info. There are; what are called OZONE machines, which break up the smell of smoke (actually break up carbon bonds), works great, but I doubt that you have one of these or can get one. I have seen some stuff at autozone that was called something with ozone. I might give that a try, I have never tried it, but it might work better.

you could get it professionally cleaned by a carpet cleaning company... thts what i do for a living.. but im no use to you, im in GA. If its cloth interior, get a carpet company to professionally clean it... and make them do the headliner too.. they should use a scent too.

my cousin had the ozone done to her car when she got water in it. The only thing is the man charged her 150 bucks to rent the machine. It really worked well and got the smell out. A cheaper way would to buy downey sheets, the ones you put in a dryer, and put them your ac vents.
