Default how do i make my brake lights brighter?

as some of you have seen, i've painted over my taillights black with niteshades. problem is, during the day you can't really see my brake lights through the paint. i mean you can, but not good enough. *cough* my girlfriend almost rear ended me *cough*. i like the all black look and don't want to go back to stock if i don't have to. so how would i go about putting more light through? thanks!

did you paint over the stock tail lights? My only guess to fix that as of now it to get some altezzas or something similar and paint those black. that should work.
Although this might be what you are looking for too. "Invisible" until the brake or blinker is applied, then boom light so you can be seen.

you could try some LED bulbs. I think there is a site that makes some pretty bright LED bulbs that may help you out
