Default How to direct power to window switch

I have the motor out so the grounds and what not aren't functioning. I have the drivers window down. I want to apply battery power to the up part of the window switch so I can roll up the window ans put the truck outside. How soi do that?

If you plug the harness into the motor, you can stick wires in the thicker dark blue and brown wire terminals at the window switch plug and hook directly up to a battery. IIRC blue to + and brown to - will make the window go up, and opposite to make it go down.

Thanks, i'll try that. The harness is hooked to the motor, I just disconnected the harness from the switch hoping I could power it that way.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that if you have the switch plugged in, then you can apply + voltage to the green wire in the door harness, and - to black, then the switch should work as designed. I've never tried it myself, just read it somewhere.
