What this guy said. My dad put a dual flowmaster exhaust on his old CCSB (don't know what series), and there was almost no difference. But I have to admit it sounded NICE.
Some of the other exhausts sound kinda raspy, but the performance gains may be worth it.

well what muffler if any has that flowmaster sound? I really could not say if my flows made a difference or not but I can say the single in dual out was crap compared to my true dual. I did gut my cats when I went true dual so it could have been the gutting the cats that did it. I never ran the truck with the 1 in 2 out so dont know what the real difference was but I could fell it.

i have the imco and its great alot quieter then the edelbrock rpms series and a helluva lot quieter then the flows were in the cab. gains not sure of but piece of mind is priceless when its in the cab..

I had an aluminized flowmaster kit. It was the biggest piece of junk ive put on my truck
the kit rotted out in under a year. Im not going to be buying another flowmaster product for some time, you can count on that.

I always thought that if you were close to stock, you needed some back pressure or you will lose or not gain much HP, maybe the flows do flow better, maybe too good for a close to stock truck? Not sure on this, just throwing this out there.
