Default High hp what locker are you using?

Hey guys.
I am 4l80 swapping my truck with transbrake and stall.
its going to have an external controller with a custom console with on the fly adjustment.
Already bought everything for it.
Engine is a 5.3 with forged pistons, boost cam, main studs, head studs, mls gaskets. Have it all done just saving up for the turbo parts. Going for around 900hp at the crank

That being said i know the 8.6 is a solid diff. Aside from bracing it and welding the axle tubes. Who is running high Hp on one and what locker are you using. I see the duragrip is a cost effective locker but I want some real proof which ones can hold the #s. Thanks!

I think most people will probably tell you to go with a detroit trutrac. I'm looking to get one myself for high boosted hp.

8.6 isnt that solid so dont get too comfortable with it. I have an eaton LSD (on a 14b 9.5 though) and never had a single problem with it.

I have the Eaton style yukon duragrip in a t56 Trans am and its held with about 475hp believe it or not. Never had a radial though. I might try it before I do a diff swap and if it dies ill just move to a 14b or 9"
