I like the truck, Rumble Bee! I think you should go with some bigger rims. Maybe you could slap some of those 22' SRT-10 rims!! Those with a 100 shot would be sweet!! I dont care what type of truck you drive, people interested in quick trucks are few and far between where I live. The more the better!

Thats the same way I am, I'm just into speed and power all togethor. I love it! I've been into racing since I was 12 with go carts, then into quads, and still into quads now, I've got more in that shee with all my parts then some folks have in their cars....LOL. I'm not really too much on brand loyality, I've had some of everything. I wanted the srt 10 this time, but no way in hell I'll pay 50K for a pick up truck, a viper or vette maybe, not a truck though. I had a 99 silverado 3 door 4 x 4 before getting my first dodge, it wasn't bad. I had a 98 ford f-150 4 x4, couldn't keep it from having the shakes (transmission), had to sell that puppy before it broke down, restored several older broncos (really into them 70 models), 2 mustangs-what a waste of money, best performance car ever was a 1996 Z-28 with 6 speed, even had a chevy turbo d 4 x 4 at one time (my family farms) couldn't keep injectors or a pump in it to save to my rump, had a 1998 jeep grand cherokee with the 5.9, 2001 LHS chrysler, and a 2002 jeep liberty.............now my wife drives some of these....she does the Liberty renegade and yes even a 2004 Trail Blazer (project SS TB, will soon be almost 400 HP) which I had picked up to drive back and forth to work until I saw the rumble bee. I really broke it off with chevy when they changed the front end, it still hasn't grone on me like everyone said it would, but the GMC IMO isn't that bad.

 

A "mac" you took of the flowmaster off? What exhuast are you running, Im in the process of buying an exhuast for my 4.8L. I currently have a Hypertech III and the K&N FIPK kit.

just make sure you get the right size muffler, i got the wrong size and it is way to quiet for me

 

Wish i did, but not by far. Im #20 on the fastest truck list if i remember right. Our fastest guy is c3c5 that ran 11.06 in an ext.cab. C3 Seira with AWD. He is running a 408 stroker w/ a 300-350 shot.

Then there is parish8 with his camed, turboed 6.0 running 11.4s and getting better.
