it looks like someone is smoking something.....it will never happen with the mods he is talking about.....slicks and a converter give me a brake he is still in the 8s in the 1/8 mile slicks will put him mid to high 7s .......a 6.9 1/8 mile is a 10.80 1/4 mile run........he will need almost 100mph in the 1/8 mile to get 6.9s .....he is running 85mph in the 1/8 mile slicks and a converter are not going to give him 15mph in the 1/8 lol

Hemis here in Ga are fast . i seen one go 9.9 in the 1/8 w/ the beer in hand mod.

 

I saw in the post where you were trying to talk some sense to him, but other guys were just making it worse by thinking it was going to happen. It isn't hard to tell who the "real" performance gurus are over there, because you guys are over here too.
I guess, at least, his expectations are high...just maybe a little too high. It sounded good though.

Its just pure ignorance on his part to think he will run that fast. Hell with Parishs new setup according to the Gtech hes running mid to low 7's in the 1/8th. Considering its a 408 with T76 turbo and some 4x4 spin with only 10psi of boost. Yeah a converter and slicks will get him not even close to where he wants to. Hell I dont even think the STS turbo would get him there. Until they come out with a program like LS edit you Hemi guys are screwed, becasue you would even get the full potential of the turbo without a good custom dyno tune. BTW how are they controlling computer for the boost on the STS setup for the Hemis?
