Thanks Fyler
How orginal of Hockey to come up with a dumbass statement like that. He really needs to grow up. Is he jealous of all the power were making. The reasons why I posted over their was you hear things like "Just blew a 2wd chevys doors off while taking the hemi to the grocery store". Or "Beat a Lightning up to a 105, from a 50 roll, with just a exhaust, intake headers and tune." What happend is someone started the BS and it grew and grew and now its out of control. There is no good for a site like that, nothing technical or true and when you try to bring em back to reality its a hudge flame up from all the members casue you own a chevy.

It's real sad over there sometimes.

Apparently there are some Dodge owners that know when not to act foolish. On the way to work this morning I had a guy in a shiny new black Ram hemi try to start something. I first saw him at an intersection as he was waiting to turn on to the road I was on. It was a good looking truck with the torque-thrust type wheels. I soon noticed him a ways behind me coming up fast and when he caught up to me, he started riding my bumper and reving his engine. There was way too much traffic to do anything, so this went on for five or six blocks at about 40 mph. Then the car in front of me slowed and turned right and there was no one in front of me for about a block so I nailed it. When it downshifted to first my tires barked and I hit 60 pretty quick before having to slow for traffic. After that, the guy stayed way behind me and never got any closer and I finally turned off about two miles later.

My gawd, I couldn't get past the first page of that link. I've been a member there since I bought my Dodge in late '03. A lot of that stuff over there is next to impossible to read. I know I'm wasting my time, but that type of behavior is NOT indicative of all Dodge owners. I guess I'll have to keep repeating this as long as I own my truck...I've always been a bowtie guy. I just came across a sweet deal and opted to try something new.
I will say this though. The ridiculous *** loyalty that some vehicle owners show have ruined it for the rest of us.
I'd prefer tossing back a few dozen cold ones with fellow 'truck' owners than see who can **** the farthest.

If you read the entire thread, most members on DTW disagree with hockey pucks statement. I will say that there are some real ******** over there, I ignore their threads but most guys are cool. There are ******* members on all forums! Most of you older members have been real cool when I switched over to the "dark side" and bought a Ram, I appreciate that. However, I have posted here and some newer members read my sig and sees Dodge Ram, their attitude is like WTF are you doing here! I personally welcome all car and truck enthusiats who offer information, ask legitimate questions and just want to have fun being around others who feel the same way. Now, if a flaming, chest beating, totally blind brand loyal eveything else is a POS person shows up on DTW, LS1TECH or any other forum, I would tell them to get the **** out as most of you would too.

I was going to say ... notice how when that happens, usually we all come down on them and show them they aren't welcome here talking like that.
The guys I have seen, except for the one that supposedly runs 11's on a 100 shot in his HEMI or something like that, that come from DTW have recieved a warm welcome. THat's one of my favorite things about this site. THere's not much bull **** tolerated here. It's not a 'mod' thing, but it's usually the members that give them the beating of a lifetime that usually runs them off.

it really kinda pisses me off because when i first started looking at this sight way before i registered for a year or so at least that we have more and more wars on here about dodge and hemi wars or whatever you call em and i know that DTW is bad about it but other sites like the ford sites and such are not near that bad and keeping in mind with my previous post ^^^ (devil = j/k) really it doesnt matter what you drive and if you dont like DTW dont go back let them live in there own little world because there will always be somebody that owns a dodge on this site that will stand up for the bowtie "CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG"
