What I did was went from the top and once it hit a certain spot. I went underneath and adjusted the trans lines to the side and wiggled it down till it fell into place. Also you could take out the cai tube but not a must. The waters lines also move out the way.

I told him the same thing in PM, try removing the spark plugs and heat shield. The passenger side on mine slid right in, it was the driver side that I had to fight with... weird.

With the truck high enough in the air, mine slid right in from the bottom, kinda had to wiggle the driver's side around the steering shaft but it went in from the bottom too.

I did mine the dr side slide in like some warm apple pie. lol, the pass had to use a little muscle. It help that the heat shield was not on. Wonder if he got it put together? I seen (if its the same person) posted on sss the exact same question. One person said to remove the wheel well and slide it in that way, to much work for me.

I have LPPs.

I remember removing some heat shield totally and on the pass side we went in from the top pretty easily.
