How to build a motor

1. Remove engine from truck
2. Take engine apart
3. Bore and hone
4. Replace bearings, pistons, rings, rods, valves, pushrods, valvesprings, cam, timing chain and whatever else is necessary
5. Finish putting back together
6. Pray to god that you didn't screw it up
7. Try to figure out what bolts go where
8. Try to put it back in
9. Drink more beer because you dont remember how it goes in
10. find someone to help you put it in
11. It's in, now you attempt to start it
12. It runs for 5 minutes
13. It starts making funny noises
14. You go oh S***!
15. You did it wrong

 

I'd check out a Chilton at your local parts store and browse through the engine section for some info and ideas

 

Your best bet is to google "how to build an engine", and you should find an plethora of books with technical info and pictures...I like pictures

 

Don't you have to go to a college spelling class before you go to a college writing class?
