Help me make mind up !!!
#1
Here recently I have been thinking about selling my truck. Well the problem is what I really want is somting that I cannot afford. I would like to get a newer(as in body style) Z71 tahoe. Every where that I have looked for one is way out of my price range so what should I do?
1.Sell my truck, and drive a piece of crap till I can afford one.
2.Keep the truck and do all the crap that I want to do to it.
3.Sell the truck, buy a 4x4 tahoe. Have all the side molding and bumpers painted to look like a Z71 tahoe?
I'm just not shure of what I want to do. How much do yall think I could get for my truck? It's a 2000 black GMC Z71 regular cabb, short-bed. It has 57k with no problems that i'm aware of (except that it could use some tires). I have some things done to it but nothing serious. It has graphite color interior with everything except leather, power seats, and that mirror with the compas and temp built in. Trucks go quick around here cause there's alot of farms so I dont think i'd have any problem selling it. I'm just worried about what i'd do after I sold it, or what I could get. Any help with my thoughts is app.

How about option 4:
4: Keep your truck for now, don't mod it, save your extra cash for down payment and wait for some decent priced newer style Tahoes in the used market?
I guess it all depends on how bad you want the tahoe.

Thats just it i'm torn between what both of yall said . On one hand I have most of the money to finish my truck up. But on the other hand I could use all that money towards a down payment. I'm going to make a list of everything that I lack doing to my truck add it all up, then compare it to a newer tahoe, and see which one I think I'll want the most.
O yeah, if any of you find soome good deals on a new body Z71 tahoe (prefferably white) let me know. That might speed my process up a little bit.
