HELP! Key stuck in ignition, cant turn truck off

Torque wrench knows his passlock stuff. I had a similar problem a while back and he helped me diagnose it. Also, you aren't the first Envoy/TB owner to post on here with that problem. It seems to be pretty common on that platform.

So how much is a dealership going to break it off in me for? I bought the part thinking I could DIY, but this involves pulling the steering whhell and who knows what else. I don't have the tools for it anymore or a place to do it since the seperation.

Default need help

I am having a similar problem when I press the button on the gear shaft everything is fine I can drive it with no problem, but when I throw it in park I cannot turn the car all the way off, when I press the button on the gear shaft it feels like its not catching after pressing on it numerous times it finally pops back and I can turn the car off, it does not happen all the time, but it seems to happen at the worse times.
