Default Help! Instrument Prnd Lights Went Out

Got in my truck this yesterday after work, guess what. The PRND indicator and mileage indicator won't light up. Everything else works fine. Is there a fix for this or what? I already checked the fuse that is in the dash. Should I check any of the fuses under the hood? What else is there?

Now on Saturday, I tried to see if my instrument gauge worked and it did. Tried it this afternoon, and it doesn't. Waited a hour and tried it again and it worked this time. Should I go ahead and get the instrument gauge replaced or have mr goodwrench look at?

sounds like your bulb burned out , go ahead & check but all of your instrument lights would be out if it was a fuse.

so, if it was the bulb that was going out, why does it came back on, then go back off? I would like to fix this myself instead of taking it to the dealer, so any help would be apreciated.
