Hey, i just put some 20 Centerline lancers that used to be on my truck, onto my moms 2004 tahoe. Now when I start her truck, the is some kinda tire pressure error on the computer. Now what do I do? How can I fix this. Was I supposed to take the Tire pressure sensors out of the stock wheels?

 

Yup the computer isnt sensing any sensors so its going crazy.

 

What am I gonna have to do.

 

Im assuming it has the stock radio.. if you press and hold on the lower of the two turn ***** for like 8-10 sec. while the car is in the "run" possition it will beep and than you will get to the menu on the radio screen... i forget exactly how to scroll through there.. but if u have the owners manual that will help.. and some where in there is something called "tire mon" or something like that and in there i think you can re-set the tire settings and what not...

but refer to ur manual.. im not sure it its the same for all 04 models... I'm just talking from experience on an 04 monte carlo...

 

OK, well i tried the radio thing, and i got it to beep, but nothin happens after that. NO new menu or anything. IM not sure what to do.

 

it beeped? wtf.. it should have a menu come up... damnit GM!

I would take it to the stealership and ask them than. Unless someone else can chime in.. but i thought tht would work..
