Did pretty good for the first time. There's always room for improvement. I'm pretty happy with what it ran. The truck was very accurate and consistant every run. I need to work on my reaction time a little and find a good RPM to launch at, but over all pretty pleased in what it did.

Yeah, it was the first time to run a vehicle down the track. The time I listed was my third time down the track. I wasn't able to launch like I wanted to because of the tire spin, but I'll get some more practice before the summer gets here. The truck is definatly there (just need my headers), strong mid and high end. Some cars were launching good and I would catch them close to the end of the track. This was an 1/8 mile track; I feel it will do alot better at a 1/4 mile track.

Have you been able to run your truck yet at the track?

No I have yet, but I do plan on going this coming Friday. The only thing is, I don't know if the track has restrictions. I don't have much tread on my tires and I don't know if they will let me run like that. If not, I guess I have to wait until I get some new rubber on the truck.

Did you do any weight reduction?

No, if anything I have added to it. Sprayed in bed liner, custom under seat speaker box (at least 100 lbs.), and the spare is still in it's place. I wanted to see how it was under normal driving. The truck really picks up on the top end and I think it would do a bit better on a 1/4 mile track. Next time I go out I want to get the box out and spare and see if letting tire pressure out of the back tires helps any. Remember it's a 4.8 Ex-Cab truck. Wonder if headers will help me out some? I need to get those this summer for sure.

I think headers will help. I am looking into those the Lapole mid-length headers. What kind were you thinking about getting? I am still trying to get my exhaust but trying to furnish a new house while I am trying to mod my truck is a little too expensive.

I really like the TOG's; everybody seems to have alot of good stuff to say about them. They say that they flow just as good if not better than the ASM's and are built a great deal better. Are you going to be getting your edit done? When I had mine done it was like a nigh and day difference.
