Has anyone delt with the tax loophole for large vehicles?

I was wondering if it is a one time thing and what all is involved. I'm thinking that my wifes studio might need a 04 duramax

It is for all vehicles over a certain gross vehicle weight. I know hummers and excursions qualify for it.

Thought it was a SUV only loophole. That is what I have been told in the past.

Nah, it's based on GVW. It all started Pre SUV days in the 80's so farmers could get tax breaks for their equipment. I think it just took effect not too long ago. I'll hear an EPA or Granola goon fussing about it now and then. I guess you write it of as a business expense.
