I have a Bell Tech 3-4 drop and have least a few inches of Clarence in the rear. I have bottom out maybe once or twice only , but I will still be adding a c-notch in the future.

evertime i hit a bump in the road it bottoms out.when i installed the hangers and shackles i noticed that the prevous owner must have took a leaf spring out.i have the bed off right now at my friends body shop repainting the truck and i figured now would be the best time to c-notch it

I run a DJM 2/4 drop and I had to C-notch the rear. I think it makes a world of difference. If your bed is already off, go ahead and do it

what are you waiting on then, notch it to prevent bottoming out, and you will eventually go lower anyways.

your prolly right.when i get the tires and and wheels i want it might go lower.i did c-notched the frame but the stock shocks was bottoming out was alot of the problem.i also found that the owner of the truck before me took the middle leaf spring out so it was really droped 6 inches in the rear.i put them back in there and it lifted it up about 2 inches. it rides alot better now and sits level.

Most 2/4 drops on rcsb only bottom out on pretty hard bumps, unless like stated that a spring was removed... I may have bottomed out only a few times

i daily drive my truck with a 6inch drop in the back with no c-notch and my bump stops practically cut off lmao, it hits on just about every little bump.... go ahead and notch it, i started out with a 4" drop in the rear too and just kept going lower from there and after you get done with the drop and start spending your money on go fast parts you run out of suspension money till you figure out how important it is for traction

did you take the little bracket between the frame and bumpstop out? take that out if not and screw the bumpstop directly into the frame. theres a hole for it. then cut all the bumpstop off but the last pad of it. thats been getting me by for months. i ordered my belltech c notch from stylintrucks 2 months ago and its still on backorder.
