Default Groaning sound from steering column 30 h2

I hope im posting this thread in the correct section.

i have an 03 H2 with 71k that groans at me every single time i take a right hand turn. Doesnt matter if its in motion or stationary. And will continue to groan throughout the duration of the turn. However does not groan when making a left hand turn. The p/s resivour is full and there doesnt seem to be any binding going on. But im at a total loss on what the problem is. Has anyone else had this issue as well or give me some pointers? If need be, ill be more than happy to upload a video.

thanks in advance.

Wife’s 05 did it for two years, had lots of bubbles in fluid, changed fluid out and cycled steering both ways muiltiple times and it went away

What are the temps outside? Some climates call for a special low temp tolerant PS fluid.

Between 45 and 75 here in florida. But i will say, that the noise is consistent no matter the temperature outside. Funny thing is, you cant really hear it on the outside of the truck. But its very pronounced inside.
