Got my first pony kill today. Guess he needed a bigger cowl hood.

Coming back from getting my wheels for the street slicks, a blue mustang with a cowl hood crept up on me. Speed limit was 65, but I was cruising about 60. Guy rolls up beside me, layed back in the seat. I couldn't help notice the huge cowl hood on it and the 5.0 emblems on the side. It was a pre-94 stang. Guy kinda nodded, almost like to say, look at my mustang.
I nodded back and snorted a little. He jumped on it and I gave chase. He didn't get a nose on me before I blew by him and smoked him. I have no idea what this thing will run on the top end, so I'm not even going to estimate a number, but it "will" top on out. He finally caught up to me again, and tried a ricer roll on me. I stopped the pull, and fininshed the same way as the first race. I slowed back down and waited for him to roll up on me again. By this time, I finally just quit messing with him. He came up beside me laughing, like I can't believe I just got waxed that bad by a truck. He got in front of me for a while, then exited and gave me the arm of approval in the air waving as we went on by. No idea if it was stock, modified, worn out, etc. It was clean, but damn slow, so I assume it was only modded with the cowl hood and Ford sticker on the back glass. The first Mustang kill on my list, and hopefully not the last. We'll see how she does off the line at Thunder. I'll finally get to post up some good numbers for a change. Did I mention I'm pretty happy with the new setup?

yeah those cars can be really worn out and not run worth a ****. I ran a 95 gt and it was rediculous slow. he went to the track and could not pull better then a 15.4. this was in my old truck but it was just funny to mess with him. good kill
