Raced my friend's new (to him) 97 V8 Jeep Cherokee.

I lost both times.

First time I came out soft and he walked me.

Second time I came out even with him, I even spun, but he put about 2 on my by the 1/8th point (side street we use)...

SUCKS!!!

I do recall hearing those Jeeps runs like low 15's or better stock, I believe it.

 

my little woman has a 03 liberty and for a v6 it has got some get up and go.

 

Fast trucks are awesome. You should swap the engine out of your current project and drop it in the Tahoe Then you just need some lightweight rims, a tranny, and some appearance stuff and you'll be all set

I'm 5100-5200 with me in it and some gas.

Pretty amusing to race SUV's, steer with one hand and give the other guy the bird with the other... or drink a soda...

Sux to lose. I better be heavier!!!!

 

I believe they are in the 3700-3800 lb area.
