Talking Got a cam installed!

Well I decided since I had all the stuff to install a cam including LS6 ported oil pump and JWIS chain I was going to have it all installed. I sold the TR220 to destruckive a while back so I called Thunder Racing to get another. I talked to David for a while when we both decided that the old man truck cam was the way to go since I still have the stock converter and 3.42 gears.

specs 215/220 .600/ .532 114*+2

So I had it installed and got a 93 hot re tune from allan and it acts like a totally different truck! Slight lope but nothing noticeable and it pulls hard from 2500 and up. I raced a WS6 that was stock with a automatic trans and was beside him from a 30 roll to 80. Then this past Thursday I totally killed a Nissan Titan from a 70 roll on the interstate and it was the ex cab 2wd version. Hopefully in the next couple weeks im going to get it dynoed again. And for August im gunning for a built transmission and a PI 2800 stall. And the exhaust note when reving is killer.

damn it if I knew, I would have sold you the cam back, I installed it and it was bad ***, after three days it blew my tranny. So I am know getting a 6.0 with and 80E, and going to go bigger. Dang, it was running bad ***. It only has about 150 miles on it. glad it you are happy with it.

No I never have been to the track before. But without the cam it would still run very well. But it runs even better now. The closest 1/4 mile track is 100 miles away and the closest 1/8 mile is 60. But I am going to run it eventually. First though I want to get a stall and trans.
